Perspective in drawing
The linear sense of depth can be produced by using perspective sketching. When things are seen from a distance, their size seems to be decreasing steadily.

The 5 principals of ‘Perspective’:
- Diminution: things appear to get smaller the further away they are from us.
- Foreshortening: things appear shorter / larger the closer they are to us.
- Convergence: parallel lines appear to come together as they go away from us, and meet a vanishing point.
- Atmospheric Perspective: things appear less clear, lighter with less contrast and colour, the further away they are from us.
- Overlapping: things appear closer to us when their lines interrupt / overlap, another set of lines; the interrupting lines art closer. (T junctions)

From the 5 principles we have just learnt, Michael Mattesi is a brilliant artists that use the perspective technique in making arts. The closer the bigger can be shown on the right picture.

Now I finally have a better understanding about what is perspective in drawings and how we should use perspective in drawings properly by connecting lines and dots. I think I will need to make more use of the perspective theory in the future for my arts because a good perspective in the drawings/animations will make the art more appealing and interesting to out audience. And it is also something that we often miss about which should have been pay more attention to it.
