Art & Graft ranged from imagined worlds and charming characters, to compelling storytelling and distinctive visual languages. Each project approach different, and every process unique; they craft unrepeatable work born of exploration, curiosity and iteration.

The line up involved an introduction from the Creative Director, Stephen Middleton, who explained Art&Graft’s unique position within the industry, how our approach is different to a traditional agency or production company and the range of both our internal projects and external partnerships.
We have asked about how long we really have for project sprints, how experimental our Sparks Sessions become and how to perfect our graduate show reels and what kind of things are the studio is looking for.
A mix of different skills and that really is like the secret of the source and in studio work is like having these different skillsets in the team and combining them together. Most importantly, we need to create something new.

Introduced Project: PROTO
We were given a short introduction about one of their project named ‘Proto‘. An animation project about sustainability in fashion. It’s a project looking to launch their visionary first trainer ‘The Iris-D’; the first completely biodegradable trainer produced domestically in the Americas, setting the precedent for Proto’s sustainable production model.
