This session we have talked about storytelling especially in filmmaking. First of all, why does people want to do storytelling?
- To entertain the audience
- People want to share their experience
- We want to reassure each other
- People want to create traditions and history
- Personally I think the most important part is to Express yourself

Your mission statement doesn’t need to be long and complex, it’s simply a promise—your statement of intention.
A mission statement needs to clarify the answers to the following two questions:
What do you do? What happens next and because of?
A good story needs:
- 1 or 2 character
- limited location/background
- a situation – “What is the problem?”
- stick with one time zone, don’t be too complicated
- a bit of ’ argy bargy’ – Conflicts
- An ending – resolution
The Character’s struggle:
Character vs Character
Character vs Environment (setting; community; against situation)
Character vs SELF
